Description:

This year’s Teen Delegate Orientation will be held at St. Jean Baptiste School 173 East 75th Street. The teen orientation is designed for young people (ages 14 – 25) attending the 57th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 57). The day will include interactive workshops on the CSW, provide an overview of the primary and review themes as they relate to girls’ human rights, and help teen delegates prepare for their time at the Commission. Participants will receive training in advocacy skills and learn to develop their own talking points for international advocacy work. Teen delegates will also consider current efforts to advance the human rights of girls and learn how to best navigate CSW 57.

This event provides teen delegates with a valuable space to prepare, network and strategize for CSW 57!
