Last year, Girl Scouts of the USA & CARE launched ‘The Power of Girls’ (www.thepowerofgirls.com) initiative to help mobilize girls around important global issues, including the critical role that girls’ education and leadership play in addressing poverty. The initiative puts girls at the heart of a conversation about the most important issues of our time.  The Power of Girls was first announced at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009.
