Day of Prayer and Action for Children
“The World Day of Prayer and Action for Children, celebrated annually on 20 November, is an opportunity for all sectors of society – governments, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and religious communities – to work together to end violence against children. Girls make up at least 50% of children. Can WGG create awareness of the violence experienced by girls around the world? Girls love your magazine. I am one of those girls. We’d love it even more if you were the ones to take charge and use less Photoshop on your models. Photoshop hurts girls. We want to see pictures that look like us, in a magazine that’s supposed to be for us.
